Why Use Videos?

Because they are great communication tools

Jesus knew all about the impact and effectiveness of stories and in a word resistant age they are just as powerful today. In a media driven culture, where virtually everyone communicates visually, videos are one of the prime story telling channels available to us. This is the place where teaching can be brought to life in ways that people can easily relate to while helping to maintain interest and involvement.

Traditionally, church services are for the auditory person: singing songs, listening to the music, or hearing the message and speaking out prayers. As soon as a video starts up on the screen people’s attention is immediately captured and they are much more likely to remember what they see and hear rather than just words alone.

Because they have IMPACT!
What touches an individual? It may be the music, the words on the screen or the story itself, videos can help drive home the message we are trying to communicate while adding impact and power to the message. It can express an idea or explain a point in two to three minutes that would take ten or more if we were left to explain it. We're not suggesting that you use video as the only way of communicating, but rather see it as an invaluable tool to help your presentation.
